All polygraph schools are not the same!

Many polygraph schools come and go  ... the Backster School of Lie Detection has been in existance for over 55 years and has conducted over 193 basic polygraph training courses.

The Backster School is the leader in establishing polygraph oriented educational standards. It is the leading school teaching techniques for obtaining polygraph examination determinations exclusively through chart results, yet does not neglect emphasis on interrogation approaches where deceptive charts are indicated.

The Backster School of Lie Detection provides maximum technique emphasis and concentrates on law enforcement  and many other applications of the polygraph.

References attesting to the high standards of the Backster School can be received from leading law enforcement agencies using the polygraph. It is their consensus that the Backster School presents the most advanced polygraph examiner course.

The program of instruction is complemented by training videos of Cleve Backster teaching during various polygraph courses.  In this manner, students still have the unique opportunity to learn directly from the "Grand Master" and "Grandfather of the the Modern Polygraph Technique".  Other training video tapes include lectures on such topics as: court testimony; legal aspects; and polygraph procedure help to assist in the learning process.  Special course emphasis is given to usage of the most modern polygraph equipment involving computer generated polygraph charts and computer assisted chart analysis. In its library, the school has available books that can be checked out on a loan basis.
